Pastor caught in traffic for stealing phone, nearly lynch$d by angry mob
A pastor is lucky to be alive after a mob attacked him on suspicion of stealing a phone.
The pastor was accused of stealing the phone near the NNPC Mega station on Otukpo Road in Makurdi, Benue State, though eyewitnesses did not provide evidence to back up their claims.
A small crowd is seen surrounding the pastor in a video shared with LIB as they accuse him of stealing by 11 a.m. today, October 18.
They tell the pastor that his actions are “very wrong,” before one of the crowd members calls out to someone, asking them to come to the scene and “control this animal.”
Others at the scene have been heard saying that they don’t sleep well at night because of the crime rate in the area, and that it’s shocking that a man of God would be caught doing such a thing.
The pastor is seen bleeding from the face after being roughed up by the men.
