Mysterious Cat Appears In Court During Controversial Case (Video)

There was a unusual scene at a Kenyan court recently when a Cat appeared out of nowhere during a controversial ruling on a referendum application.

The case known as #BBIRuling has been trending on social media and it means “Building Bridges Initiative” (BBI) which was a constitutional referendum originally scheduled to occur in Kenya in June 2021.

However, a Kenyan High Court court giving a judgement on August 20, stated that the process by which the referendum was formed was unconstitutional and barred the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission from proceeding with the referendum.

Also, the Court of Appeal upheld the High Court decision to nullify Building Bridges Initiative calling the project “unconstitutional and unlawful.”

In a video making rounds online, while the judge was giving the ruling in a special court sitting, the cat appeared out of the blues and roamed the courtroom.

When discovered, the cat created unease as there were suspicions that it had been sent for fetish purposes.
