My Ex-husband Gave Me Only GHC 60 During Our 13 Years Of Marriage’ – Ghanaian Lady Claims

We were stunned after seeing a wild claim made by a Ghanaian lady.

The lady is a trader and mother of two whose name was given as Matilda, and according to her, she was married to a man for 13 years, and the only money the man who is now her ex-husband gave her was just GHC 60 adding that the man gave her the money to invest in her business.

The lady made this known when she was interviewed on SVTV Africa, and in her submission, she said;

“All he gave me in our 13 years of marriage is GH¢60. I work to support my children. He doesn’t give me money for my upkeep. He doesn’t do anything for me.

The GH¢60 he gave me was to start my business. Since that day, I never saw his money again, and now we’re divorced.

I wasn’t happy when it happened, but now I feel free and relieved. It feels like some burden has been lifted off me. I drank the schnapps he brought to dissolve the marriage. I drank it all and destroyed the bottle.

Sometimes, the marriage lacks understanding. It is not always the woman’s or the man’s fault. It becomes difficult when the marriage lacks understanding.”
