Four guys have been detained for reportedly rapping a Bengal monitor lizard at the Sahydari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra, India, according to multiple internet sites.
Sandeep Tukram, Pawar Mangesh, Janardhan Kamteka, and Akshay Sunil have been identified as the four guys who performed the shocking atrocity.
Their arrest was made feasible after a video of them rapping the lizard was discovered on one of the accused’s phones.
According to the Maharashtra Forest Department’s CCTV footage, the four guys were seen prowling around the forest and trespassing into the Sahyadri Tiger Reserve, which was established by the Indian government in 2008 to protect Bengal tigers.
Only one of the accused was apprehended at first, while the others fled. The last three were eventually discovered in Hativ village in Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri district. The forest guards stated that they will consider the charges against the accused with the Indian Penal Court.
