“I Gave Out My Awards In Honor Of Kofi Annan” – Dr. UN Reveals

Kwame Owusu Fordjour, popularly known within the digital space as Dr. UN has refuted claims that he impersonated the former UN General Secretary, Dr. Kofi Annan in his award scheme.

Speaking in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, Dr. UN stated that he never impersonated the United Nations and its former secretary in his award scheme but he only awarded people in honor of the late UN secretary.

He stated that he only awarded people who have achieved global excellence and contributed enormously to the society and he had a lot of dignitaries from all walks of life coming to the event from international organizations and missionaries.

He also said that he never received any letter from the Kofi Annan’s office, asking him to desist from using his name in his dealings but the letter he got was a disclaimer from the United Nations, intimating that they have nothing to do with his global award scheme.

Dr. UN also revealed that he had already organized an award show in Ghana and the event was graced by the late Kofi Annan and he had consecutive events along the line as well but Ghanaians have never done the research about his award scheme.
