“How Do People Survive On GHC 300 – GHC 500?’ – Berla Mundi Asks As Prices Of Goods Keep Increasing

Ghanaian media personality, Berla Mundi has asked a very important question.

The question comes at a time when the prices of goods and services are skyrocketing with each passing day.

She made this question in a recent post she made on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

The question had to be with how people in Ghana who are receiving meager salaries between GHC 300 to GHC 500 are surviving in this harsh economy.

The post she made reads;

“So people who earn about ghc300-ghc500 a month, how do they survive in this economy?”

The post got some interesting reactions and some of these reactions are;

@ace_rbk – I make GHS650/month as a shop attendant,I stay with my parents & the trick is that I eat my mother’s food in the morning before I go to work, then I use 5cedis for transport, I eat Gob3 or any food under 10 at work, then eat mum’s food in the evening.
I save GHS200 every month.
