Free electricity and water initiative to be extended for another 3 months.
Consumers of utility in Ghana might be hearing some good news soon since the duration of free water and electricity initiative might be increased.
The new measures are yet to be announced and in the mid – year budget review that the finance minister, Ken Ofori Atta is presenting to Parliament today.
Graphic online has reliably been informed that the free electricity will be available to only lifeline consumers and water by everyone.
When announced and implemented, it’ll bring the total number of duration to six months. The initiative was introduced to help consumers cope with the economic challenges brought by the Covid-19 pandemic
