Father Of Four Allegedly Kills His Wife And Dumps Her Body In A Well In Edo State

A Nigerian pharmacist identified as Esther is reported to have been killed by her husband and dumped in a well in their compound.

Reports have it that the incident happened on Monday, July 18 at her residence in Republic street, Benin, Edo State when Esther was killed and dumped in a well by her husband to escape justice.

Neighbors who noticed the sudden disappearance of Esther confronted her husband and he claimed that his wife abandoned him and left their four kids for him to take care of them.

However, one of their neighbors who went to fetch water from the same well Esther was dumped in noticed that there was a floating body in the well. She quickly raised alarm and some vigilantes together the police retrieved the body only to discover that it was that of Esther’s.

The husband upon severe beatings and interrogation confessed to the crime and was immediately detained by the police as their prepare to arraign him before the court.
