DopeNation Says They Will Still Collaborate With Kuami Eugene Despite His Loose Talk
Ghanaian music duo, Dope Nation has disclosed their readiness to work with Kuami Eugene in the future following the unguarded statement he made following their exit from Lynx Entertainment.
Eugene divulged how happy he was after the duo parted ways with Lynx. According to him, what would have been shared among four boys was going to be shared to two boys after their exit.
Dope Nation expressed their displeasure in the comment made by their former label mate. They even counselled him to learn how to talk since it seems he has a problem with communication.
The duo, who appears not to have any issues with him, has said they will collaborate with Kuami when necessary.
“The bigger picture is preaching afrobeats to the world. Now, afrobeats is booming in three countries; Ghana, Nigeria and in London and the fact that we fight ourselves in Ghana, that’s what’s keeping the Nigerians a little step ahead of us.
“Collaborating with Eugene to make a big song out there, we wouldn’t mind because the bigger picture is to preach afrobeats and to preach Ghanaian music to the world,” they told Nana Quasi Wusu (PM) in an interview on YFM in Kumasi.
