Diego Costa handed Six Months sentence in prison and fine

Luckily as a first time offender, the Spanish international striker will pay his adopted Country a compensation instead of spending time behind bars.

Costa pleaded guilty to defrauding the Spanish state of more than £1 Million after failing to declare of over £5 Million earned from his 2014 move to Chelsea.

But the Spanish laws which state that non – violent crimes with a punishment of under two years imprisonment can be resolved with a fine since he’s a first time offender tho he was imprisoned to spend six months in jail.
