71-year Ghanaian nanny faces child abuse charges in USA after beating a baby under her care.
A 71 – year old America base Ghanaian nanny identified as Abena Yeboah is in the grips of New York City police after she was caught on camera physically abusing a baby under her care.
The prosecutors office said the Bronx woman who was hired to take care of the child in Hackensack has been charged with one count of Title 9 child abuse.
Yeboah was arrested in Bronx by New York police after Hackensack issued a warrant for her. She is so far awaiting extradition hearing.
Her Title 9 child abuse charge has been labelled as a fourth-degree crime to inflict.
People convicted of a fourth-degree crime face up to 18 months in prison.
